Anyone else struggle with geo-blocked content while traveling?

I just got back from a business trip and wanted to share a small victory. I'm a huge fan of a specific streaming service from back home, and I was hoping to unwind with it from my hotel. Of course, I was hit with that frustrating "this content is not available in your region" message.
