With continued respect to the commitment to infrastructural development and sustainable growth across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Yesterday, I embarked on an inspection tour of the ongoing 5km road project linking Naharati and Ukya communities in Abaji Area Council.

The tour, which involved key stakeholders, including the Director of Works (Abaji Area Council), Wiz China (Contractor) representative, FCDA, and STTD representatives, is to assess the progress of the project, ensure adherence to project specifications, and foster collaboration among stakeholders for its successful completion.

The message of infrastructural development by H.E Barr. Nyesom Wike on the construction of 5km road project at the just concluded 17th graded Chiefdom tour is speedily being put in place as it holds strategic importance for the development of Abaji Area Council. This project will connect the Naharati and Ukya communities, facilitating regional connectivity, enhance transportation, and promote socio-economic development in the area.

The inspection tour further highlighted the unified commitment of all stakeholders involved in the project, demonstrating a shared goal for its successful completion and the overall development of the people of the FCT.

The team’s collaborative efforts and dedication to quality assurance underscores particularly the FCT Administration’s commitment under the great leadership of the FCT Minister, His Excellency, Barr. Nyesom Wike to providing efficient and sustainable infrastructure for the benefit of the FCT people.
